1. “Our parish council employed Internal Audit Yorkshire this year for a comprehensive audit.  As Chairman, I was involved in the initial discussions with the company along with our Proper Officer to ensure that the Council’s requirements were fully understood.  Internal Audit Yorkshire showed early on that they were flexible, experienced and expert with regard to most of our needs.  This was a huge help in setting the conditions for a successful audit.  The interactions with the company during the audit were conducted in a very professional manner and the resulting IA report was well-written, comprehensive and thorough.  It has established trust in the AI process and shows our Council were right to employ this company.  The Council also agreed that the report as it is written and structured gives us a clear way forward and that none of the recommendations contained in it seem particularly complex or difficult to achieve.  This has greatly helped us with the drafting of our action plan.  I would be happy to recommend Internal Audit Yorkshire to other councils and look forward to working with them again.” – Cllr Peter Colquitt, Chairman of Rothbury Parish Council
